Like many of you, the roots of Mountain Top Furniture began with a family falling in love with the North Georgia mountains.

Brook Vaughn

Having always been seeking adventure, it only made sense to move to the beautiful mountains the moment after graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design. With a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, I love being able to see a different side of the process by working closely with unique furniture and people to ensure that they are one step closer to fulfilling their mountain dreams!

Emily Hayden

Raised in Union County, I’ve always valued community, creativity, and craftsmanship. After earning my degree from Truett McConnell University, I returned home to explore various trades—ultimately landing at Mountain Top Furniture, where I’ve found a place to grow, connect, and create. While pursuing my Interior Design certificate, I build meaningful relationships and find inspiration in the details of everyday life. I’m passionate about learning new skills and embracing fresh challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, quiet moments, and time with loved ones. I’m excited to help turn your vision into something lasting, meaningful, and personal.

Lisa Nalaschi Floyd

I was born in West Palm Beach, FL, but when I was 5 my family made the move to the beautiful Blairsville mountains. I have my bachelor’s degree in Theology & Intercultural Studies, spending a lot of time overseas in different countries. Through this, I have come to appreciate the stillness of the mountain life here in Blairsville. Currently, I am working on my certificate in Interior Design, and seek to come alongside and share in your journey creating a space that will allow you to do more of what you love.

Clayton Lester

I was raised in Blairsville and recently moved back after graduating from Kennesaw State University with my major in Business Administration. Since I am part of the family-owned business, I have been involved with the store for many years in various ways. I have spent a lot of time working with the warehouse & delivery team, worked alongside the operations team for a summer, and have helped with many of the store events. I’m excited to join the sales team, connect with people, and help them create their dream homes in these beautiful mountains!
